Nilima Devi MBE specialised in Kathak under the tutelage of Pandit Sunderlal Gangani. She is an influential advocate of Kathak in the UK, and the founder and artistic director of the Centre for Indian Classical Dance (CICD) in Leicester and the Nilima Devi Dance Company creating and producing Kathak repertoires, folk and creative dance in solo and group choreography.
