Darshan Singh Bhuller is a dancer, choreographer and filmmaker. Under the direction of Robert Cohan at London Contemporary Dance Theatre. Bhuller has been a longstanding member, then rehearsal director, choreographer and teacher. He was also associated with the Siobhan Davies Dance Company Richard Alston Dance Company. He has created and directed works for numerous companies including CeDeCe, Companhia de Bailado Contemporaneo, Scottish Dance Theatre, Danshögskolan, CandoCo Dance Company, Nordic Dance Theatre, Graeae, and a production with the Shaolin Monks of China, and collaborated with artists such as Graham Dean, Barry Guy, Barrington Pheloung, John Martyn, Micha Berghese, Virginie Mecene and Jocelyn Pook amongst others. Bhuller received the Company Prize for Outstanding Repertoire (Modern) at the Critic’s Circle National Dance Award (2006) for his innovative work as the Artistic Director of Phoenix Dance Theatre, and has recently been awarded an Honorary Fellowship by Northern School of Contemporary Dance. He also has directed and choreographed numerous dance theatre productions & short films through his own company Singh Productions. He is currently serving as the Co-Director of the Sir Robert Cohan Dance Legacy.
