Back in the day when I was carrying vinyl for my DJ sets, I had a whole range of record boxes. Some were for 7’’ singles, others for albums, dub plates, and 12’’ remixes. Some were colour-coordinated corresponding to different genres, depending on where or what sets I was playing, and the rugged flight-cased ones were reserved for international bookings. Each box recalls vivid memories of venues, festivals, clubs, and gigs from all over the world. Sights, sounds, smells, and the many people we met along the way, danced with, or who dazzled us with their dance.
