Bronze Statue of Shiva
It is a bronze statue of Shiva in his/her half male, half female form, also known as Ardhanarishvara. It holds many meanings for me:
1. It is aesthetically appealing.
2. It reminds me of my homeland.
3. It was crafted in South India using an ancient method of bronze casting.
4. It represents the symbiosis between creation and destruction.
5. It symbolises the masculine and feminine traits inherent in all human beings.
