Akua Gyamfi is a notable creative and the founder of ‘The British Blacklist’, which she started in 2012. This is a media platform that celebrates and focuses on the works of Black creatives who work in film, television, theatre, and music. The British Blacklist is the number one Black arts and entertainment platform in the UK. Gyamfi has worked across the entertainment industry in film, fashion, and television. She currently produces podcasts Your Aunties Could Never (popular culture) and TBB Talks (interviews with Black creatives from around the globe).
