Krish Majumdar is a celebrated film and television producer, director, and co-founder of the production company ‘Me+You.’ Majumdar was appointed the British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) chair in 2020. He was the first person of colour to be appointed chair and was the youngest chair in 35 years. He was previously chair of the BAFTA learning committee and television committee. He also chaired the BAFTAs’ awards review, which was to address the lack of diversity in the awards; this included changes to membership campaigning to make the voting process more inclusive.
