Moira Stuart is a prominent television presenter and broadcaster. She was the first Black Caribbean woman to appear on British Television as a newsreader. She first started working on BBC News in 1981. She has continued to present news programmes and documentaries, and left the BBC in 2007. Stuart accused the workplace of sexism and ageism. She has continued her prolific media career in radio and other television presenting.
