Benedict Wong is an established actor from Eccles, Salford. Wong started his television career in the early nineties and was a series regular in Sean Locke’s BBC sitcom 15 Storeys High. Wong was also in the 2010 children’s series, Spirit Warrior, which was the first British television drama series to have a predominantly East Asian cast. Wong has had an international breakthrough from being in the 2014 Netflix show Marco Polo, Marvel Films, and is in several Hollywood productions. Wong is a patron of ‘Rising Waves’, an organisation that supports British East and Southeast Asian creatives in the stage and screen industries.
