Nina Rajarani, a dancer, teacher and award-winning choreographer received extensive training in Bharatanatyam from Prakash Yadagudde in the UK, and Shanta and VP Dhananjayan, and Chitra Visweswaran in Chennai, India. She won the Place Prize for QUICKwon (2006). With Srishti – Nina Rajarani Dance School based in Middlesex and her dance company Srishti – Nina Rajarani Dance Creations, she presents dance that maintains the authenticity of Indian classical dance with changing concepts and within contemporary contexts.
